In August, Shanna Groenewald (12), the daughter of Jenny's cousin, came from Zimbabwe to spend three weeks with us. It was a wonderful break for her away from all the troubles and we thoroughly enjoyed showing her around. The highlight of the visit was our week-long camping trip which included a few days in Jasper National Park in the Rocky Mountains, two days on the fringe of the mountains and a week-end camping with the whole family at Brazeau Dam. The week-end included Richard and Myrna, Angy and baby Leandros, Rita and Vanessa and Jessica. During her stay we also went to watch a couple of games at the FIFA U-19 Womens World Cup championships held in Edmonton. The Canadian team did very well and just lost the final to USA in sudden-death overtime.
