The tree overlooks the main entrance to the University and the ornamental lake.
The tree is a Brilliant Red Chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia) which will grow about 6-8 feet tall, will have white blossoms in the spring,
red berries in the summer and red leaves in the autumn.
