We took a day cruise on the ocean - unfortunately not on the luxury liner - Vision of the Seas - but on the small
catamaran - the Santamaria - at the dock on the right ! (This was the Puerto Vallarta harbour where large cruise
ships always stop for a day so that passengers can go ashore and do the tourist thing.)

We were amazed, as we sailed past the huge luxury liner, to see crew members hanging high over the water on rickety
wooden platforms, painting the side of the ship !
